Parkgate Mobility, WordPress Website

In 2025, we were contacted by Parkgate Mobility’s head office, which was experiencing issues with its existing website. The website had become slow over time due to having numerous plugins added to create additional functionality. Utilising too many plugins on a WordPress website can be problematic, particularly if they aren’t kept up to date or if there is overlap in functionality, which can cause code conflicts.

Initially, we implemented a quick fix on the existing website to enable the team to resume online trading. The payment system had been problematic, so we fixed it immediately and then proceeded to develop a new website.

The new website was launched in late 2025 and is much slicker, quicker and customer-friendly. In addition to its e-commerce functionality, it features a new store finder plugin that lets potential customers find the nearest store nationwide. The new site is much more streamlined in its web code and plugins, better optimised for SEO, and much faster to load and use.
